Description
An Accounts Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support to the accounting department. They handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring that financial data is up-to-date and readily available.
Requirements
• Minimum Five Subjects CXC (Including English, Mathematics & Accounts)
• Currently studying for the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
• Minimum One (1) year experience
Responsibilities
• Preparing and processing payments to vendors.
• Accurately entering financial data into accounting software.
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Preparing purchase requisition & voucher
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
